The Me2 Club team have been busy working from home and thinking of innovative ways to support our young people and their families remotely. All our current Me2 Club families and volunteers have received a survey to find out how we can best help them during this challenging period. All your suggestions are valued so please do respond if you have time.
Our Activities and Volunteer Coordinators are keeping in touch with families and volunteers via telephone calls, video calls, emails, personal video messages and regular social media updates. Our Facebook parent forum has a growing membership and is a great way to share tips and ideas, providing a support network for our current families and helping to make them feel less isolated. We are here for our all Me2 Club members and are working hard to personalise and adapt our support to suit their specific needs. All the Me2 Club staff are available via email and mobile phone so please keep in touch!
To help us to continue supporting our families now, and when we can restart our face-to-face activities, we have launched a Covid-19 Response Appeal and you can donate here.
Me2 Club Crew – Covid19 update
Exciting news! Our Teenage Meetup project is moving online! This way we can get together safely and connect with each other socially while having some fun and maybe learning some new life skills along the way. Our first virtual Me2 Club Crew Meetup will be a game of Bingo on 31st March. This was requested by one of our teenagers with a keen interest in the game and surprising talent for Bingo calling! The team already have more creative ideas and we will also be asking our teenagers for their suggestions.
