This year we’re looking to raise a total of £10,000. If we receive £5000 in online donations, the Big Give will donate an extra £5000! We will be raising money to continue our mission of enabling the inclusion of children with additional needs and disabilities into mainstream activities and tackling the harm caused by exclusion and isolation.
Me2 Club has been selected to participate in the Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign, the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign taking place for 7 days from 28th November to 5th December. Every donation made to our campaign during this week will be doubled at no extra cost to you thanks to our Big Give Pledgers and Champion Funders.
In 2022 your generous donations meant that we could…
- Support 155 young people to help them participate in the activities they love.
- Provide 2,633 hours of respite to parents and families.
- Train 61 new volunteers as well as continuing to support our volunteers from previous years.
- Hold 3 accessible parties for our families to enjoy where our young people can have fun with children who also have additional needs/disabilities.
- Start our new Youth Forum, Say YES, for young people with additional needs in Wokingham to meet up and have their voices heard to improve the local authority and health services for young people with disabilities.
2023 marks the 20th anniversary of Me2 Club. Your donations meant that this year we could start 2 new projects, our teen group and Youth Social Action Group, which provide new opportunities for young people with additional needs to make friends and feel included without needing to sign up for our core service. We want to continue to expand our services and reach even more young people, but we need your help!
