Buddy Matching

 Once your child is on our waiting list, our Activity Volunteer Coordinators (AVCs) will start the process of finding a suitable volunteer. When a potential match is found, the next steps are:

Home Visit: The AVC will arrange a home visit to meet you and your child, providing a chance to discuss volunteer details and build rapport.

Introductory Meeting: You and your child will meet the volunteer along with the AVC to ensure a comfortable match.

First Session Setup: After a successful match, the AVC will coordinate the first activity session with you and the volunteer. You’ll be asked to book your child’s place at their chosen activity.

This step ensures a supportive, comfortable start for your child in their new activity with a trusted buddy by their side.
