On Tuesday 22nd of February, we welcomed 12 new volunteers and gave them the training needed to start supporting our children and teenagers. As always, we are so grateful for these volunteers who give their time to help the children and families supported by Me2 Club, so we want to say a big ‘thank you’ to all who attended! This training was supported by the Alexandra Briess Legacy Fund and we are proud to be supporting more volunteers to start their volunteer journey with us.
The new group of recruits reported great benefits from attending training and gave lots of positive feedback including:
- 100% of participants reported an increase in their knowledge of additional needs
- 92% felt more confident in being matched with a child
- 100% rated the training “very good” or “excellent”
