We have two exciting opportunities to join Me2 Club a local inclusion charity supporting disabled children and young people.

Activities and Volunteers Coordinator

Help children and young people with additional needs and disabilities feel included, build friendships and enjoy the activities they love.

Me2 Club matches children with volunteer buddies who support them to take part in mainstream leisure activities across Reading and Wokingham.

As our Activities and Volunteers Coordinator, you’ll get to know children and their families, match them with the right volunteer and provide ongoing support. You’ll also help recruit, train and support our volunteers.

 We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting children with additional needs and disabilities
• Has experience managing and supporting volunteers
• Builds trusting relationships and is confident delivering training
• Shares our commitment to Inclusion for All

  Salary: £19,755–£22,400 for 29.6 hours per week ( 0.8 FTE)  (£24,694–£28,000 full-time equivalent)

Hours: 29.6 hours per week, with the working pattern agreed with the successful candidate

Remote working, with regular travel across Reading and Wokingham

Fixed-term contract

 Occasional evening and weekend work is required, along with access to a vehicle. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Participation Coordinator

Are you passionate about making sure children and young people with additional needs and disabilities have a say in decisions that affect them?

Join Me2Club and help young people share their experiences, put forward their ideas and influence change across Reading and Wokingham.

As our Participation Coordinator, you’ll run SEND Youth Forums and participation sessions, support our Youth Ambassador and work with local partners to ensure young people’s voices shape services and decisions.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting children and young people with additional needs and disabilities
• Can plan and deliver creative, accessible group sessions
• Has helped young people share their views and influence decision makers
• Builds positive relationships with families and partner organisations

 Salary: £24,694 – £28,000 FTE (pro‑rata £14,816 – £16,800 based on 0.6 FTE)

Salary: £14,816 – £16,800  for 22.2 hours per week ( 0.6 FTE) (£24,694–£28,000 full-time equivalent)

Hours: 22.2 hours per week, with the working pattern agreed with the successful candidate

Hybrid working, combining remote work with travel across Reading and Wokingham and occasional visits to a Berkshire office

Fixed-term contract

Occasional evening and weekend work is required. You’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
