In 2011 we were awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work done in their own communities. It was created in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of The Queen’s coronation. It is the MBE for volunteer groups.

“I first became aware of the work of the Me2 Club when judging for the QAVS award in 2011. They so deserved to win it and they did. The one-to-one work of the volunteers means that the children can be integrated into a range of activities which might not otherwise be possible for them, it gives the parents a little respite, and overall serves to create a better understanding of children who cope with difficulties and those who don’t. Run by a small and dedicated team, Me2 Club deserves all the help they can get”.
In 2020 we won a Get Berkshire Active Award, for the category: Youth Engagement Project of the Year.
