Wokingham Borough Mayor chooses to support Me2 Club!

The whole Me2 Club team were overjoyed to hear that the new Wokingham Borough Mayor Cllr John Kaiser has chosen us as his Charity of the Year. For a local charity, celebrating its 15th birthday, his support will not only raise our profile throughout the Wokingham Borough but also much needed funds. We are looking forward to welcoming the Mayor and Mayoress as a guest of honour at our 15th birthday celebrations in June where they will get to meet our volunteers, our Me2 Club children and their families.

The whole Me2 Club team have been out today in Woodley town centre for our FUNdraiser with games and a cake and toy sale. We would like to thank EllisKnight Recruitment, Ben (Huntswood), John, Rob and Steve for their help running the Row-A-Thon and to all our volunteers for bucket collecting. Thanks also to all the parents and supporters who baked amazing treats for the cake sale with special thanks to Chris and his wife who made over 100 cakes for the stall! We are grateful for all the support we have received, we would not be able to run these events without your help. Look out on our social media next week to find out the total raised!

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into effect today, if you want to still receive our emails please fill the survey we have sent out.

Don’t forget to buy your ticket for our Summer Raffle, for more information click here.

We hope all our young people and volunteers have a good half term and good luck with to everyone who are sitting their exams!

“Me2 Club provides a fantastic service, essential to our children growing up and giving them the opportunity to access mainstream activities in their community, which makes them “part” of their community.”
