This week, Jess and Vicky have been busy matching our young people with new volunteers with lots of home and activity visits. Vicky has also been out at a recruitment talk at Henley College to find more volunteers to help our children in the coming term. We are running our next Volunteer Induction Training is on 11th and 12th of February, 5-9pm. Planning for our next ‘Day Away’ has continued and we are excited to be able to take so many of our Teenagers away in February half term. The activities for the ‘Day Away’ will be decided by the Teenagers in the next couple of weeks.
Jess will be out tomorrow at Wokingham Volunteer Fair so come along and chat to her if you are interested in our volunteering opportunities or want more information about our service. The fair is being held in Wokingham Town Hall between 10am and 1pm. Thank you to Wokingham Volunteer Centre for hosting the event.
We are so grateful to have received a grant from Big Lottery Fund for our ‘Including Me2 Club’s Children’ project. Thank you to anyone who buys tickets.
