It has been another very busy week at Me2 Club. We have had lots of our new volunteers into the office for their interviews. It’s been brilliant getting to know more about them and we are starting to think about who they can be matched with. We have also been getting everything ready for our Christmas Party next weekend!

This week we received a fantastic grant from Garfield Weston Foundation towards our core costs. We are very grateful and this support from the Weston family which will mean a great deal to the Me2 Club families.

Next week is #UKCharityWeek and we have lots of fun events planned! What will you be doing?

Monday is the row-a-thon in aid of our work. The event is running from 9 am – 4 pm at Magal. If you’re in Woodley please come down and join in with our attempt to row 115km! There will be a £2 entry on the day and prizes for the fastest male and female, fastest team and best effort.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, we are a part of the Wokingham living advent. We’ll be joining in with bucket collecting at The Gig House on Tuesday 4th and The Broad Street Tavern on Wednesday 5th; so please do come along and support our children.

Friday is our fundraising day at Asda Lower Earley. We will be there with a stall, and collecting buckets, to raise valuable funds and awareness for our charity. Please do come along and join in with the fun!

Our Countdown to Christmas Campaign is now in full swing! To find out more and to help us reach our target click here.

A big ‘thank you’ to Liz, our trustees and amazing volunteers for all their hard work at the Wokingham Winter Carnival. It was a great success and raised over £700 for Me2 Club! It was lovely to see some of our young people at the event too.
