Tess and Liz had a meeting with Wokingham Borough Mayor, Cllr John Kaiser, making arrangements for the upcoming Wokingham Mayor’s Gala Ball. We are pleased to announce that
Jess has been out at lots of activity visit this week and in addition to celebrating her birthday she has been able to take some children off our waiting list. We look forward to meeting the new families and working with them to help their children at mainstream activities. Vicky had a successful recruitment talk with the Year 12s at The Emmbrook School this week, discussing the different ways they can get involved in volunteering with us. The team has also been preparing for the upcoming Teenager Day Away. The Teenagers have all responded with their activity choices and so we can now start booking the activities and finalise our plans for the day.
We are so excited to announce that we are one of the charities supported at The Wokingham Walk this year! Registration opens on 15th February so if you would like to walk, and raise funds for Me2 Club, please contact Liz
Finally, next week is the Charity night of The Russell Player’s Snow White and the Magnificent Seven, which has already sold out!
