Ready.. get set.. BAKE!
As the lovely weather continues we have had another great week at Me2 Club and hope our young people and volunteers have been enjoying their activities in the sunshine. As the end of term approaches, we are still working hard to start children at activities and prepare for others to start in September.
Our supporters at COEO ran a bake sale for us this week and raised an amazing £350 after the total was matched by the owners of COEO. We would like to thank everyone who took part and hope all the entries were as delicious as they looked! Congratulations to the winners; Christian Bolton who won the sweet competition with his treacle tart and James Murfin who won the savoury competition with his chicken and bacon pie.
In other fundraising news, our teams who ran in the Cross-Country-Relay at the weekend had an excellent day, to read more please go to our news story. Thank you to all the children who took part and raised such an amazing amount. Thank you also to our volunteer Annah who completed her skydive last weekend. Please click here to watch her video from the day.
If you haven’t brought in your stubs for our Summer Raffle please make sure we have them by Monday 16th as the draw is next Friday!
Finally, Me2 Club are recruiting for a new Activities and Volunteers Coordinator so please check out the job advert and pass it on to anyone you know who may be interested!
