Our Trustees

Me2 Club’s work is overseen by a board of five trustees. They share legal responsibility for governing the charity and direct how it is managed and developed. Our Trustees have a diverse range of knowledge and skills, which ensures the charity is run efficiently.

Lucy Morris – Chair of Trustees

Lucy has over a decade of experience in working for government regulatory bodies, including the Charity Commission and has sat on a number of trustee boards for other local charities. She currently teaches at a local pre-school where she is also the SENCO. Her son is currently supported by the Me2 Club.

Lori Day – Vice Chair

Lori has 30 years’ experience of working in the IT industry in a variety of roles, latterly working in sales and marketing. Upon retirement from there she then embarked on a second career within a charity as a freelance Horticultural Therapist. She initially decided on a volunteering role with Me2 Club, but also felt her skills the the corporate world would enable her to become a trustee to help support the charity in the future.

Simon Crawford – Treasurer

Simon has over 25 years’ experience in finance from roles in the Manufacturing and Healthcare industries. He decided to become a Trustee in 2015 after responding to an advertisement in his son’s school newsletter and then connecting with existing trustees to see the amazing work that Me2 Club does and the positive impact it has.

Kate Sims – Secretary

Kate is an education consultant for an international education charity, where she works with education policy makers from across the globe to strengthen education services. Through her work, she is passionate about ensuring that marginalised children receive the education they deserve. Kate joined Me2 Club as Trustee after reading about the inspirational work the charity does on local community social media pages, and to give back to her local community.

Sue Woodcock

Sue worked in the private sector for over 30 years, before embarking on a new career in education, qualifying as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant supporting young people with additional needs in mainstream Secondary Education. She then trained as a Specialist Teaching Assistant, working with visually impaired children and young people, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience in the process. She initially became involved with Me2 Club as a fundraising volunteer, but decided to offer her services as a trustee having been so impressed with it’s work in improving the life experiences of the children and young people it supports.

Sarah Hilling

Sarah has been a primary school teacher for 19 years and was an Assistant Head Teacher for 4 years. She first became involved with Me2 Club in 2014 as her son was supported by a Me2 Club volunteer. In 2016, she decided to become a trustee to give something back to the Charity that has supported her family. Sarah has recently take on a new role as a SENCO in Primary Education.
