We are excited to welcome 18 new volunteers who were trained at our November Volunteer Induction Training. We are so pleased to have these volunteers join us to support our existing children who need a new volunteer but also to support children who have come off our waiting list. The attendees gave some excellent feedback on the course and 97% rated the training ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’, 87% felt they had increased their knowledge of additional needs and 81% felt more ready to be matched. This training was kindly funded by a donation from The Woodroffe Benton Foundation.
This year we have trained 77 new Me2 Club volunteers, which is more volunteers than we have ever trained in one year. Due to the impact of Covid on our service and volunteering, these volunteers have ben vital to help children back into activities since that start of 2022. Thank you to all our new volunteers from this year for their dedication to supporting children with additional needs and disabilities, we could not run Me2 Club without you all.
