Me2 Club is Growing!

We were excited to announce, this week, that Me2 Club is growing! It is expanding from a Wokingham Borough charity to a Berkshire charity, starting initially with Reading Borough. Following extensive research and planning, the Trustees of Me2 Club have elected to begin a phased expansion into Reading Borough starting with the 5 wards of Katesgrove, Redlands, Park, Church and Whitley.

Me2 Club’s ethos is ‘Inclusion for All’. Specifically, we aim to ensure that every child we support has the opportunity to attend a mainstream leisure activity, “to be included, to belong”. We are excited to be extending the charities geographical reach and supporting more young people to be included and helping them grow in confidence.

We have already received some fantastic feedback from supporters about the expansion and interest from Reading parents! One supporter had this to say “Congratulations on your move to extend your work into Reading – we wish you all the best with your new venture.”

“This is wonderful news for all those who will benefit from your ‘services’. ” Me2 Club supporter.

We are so grateful to all the positive feedback we have had so far and would like to thank everyone who has supported us along this journey.

To help us spread this fantastic news we had an interview with Ali from That’s TV Thames Valley. The interview aired on Wednesday and you can watch it here.

“C now has a small bunch of friends who he talks to about everything. At the start he appeared kind of lonely but over time he has integrated and has people to talk to about things he enjoys!”
