Happy International Women’s Day!

It has been another busy week for the team of hardworking women at Me2 Club! Jess and Vicky have been out to see lots of the young people and their volunteers at activities, as well as lots of home visits in preparation for our upcoming ‘Weekend Away’. Tess ran an Introduction to Autism inclusion training this week to help a group of bicycle instructors to understand more about Autism.

Liz has been hard at work preparing for the Wokingham Borough Mayor’s Gala Ball in aid of Me2 Club. There is now only one day to go until the event and we would like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to everyone who has supported this event and as a result, the guests are in for a real treat!

We are very excited about our next ‘Day Away‘ for a Zoo Keeper Experience, which has been booked in April. We’ve had a fantastic response from parents and the trip is already oversubscribed! The invite has also been sent out to our volunteers so please check your inboxes. Without our fantastic volunteers, we would not be able to run these trips so if you are available to help on the day please get in touch. (Please note for this trip our young people need to be over 7 years old due to zoo regulations.)

Do you work for a company with a charitable giving programme? Would you consider nominating Me2 Club for your workplace ‘charity of the year’ or staff giving programme? If yes, then please get in touch and tell us about the charitable programmes in your work place.

“My experience of volunteering with S is very rewarding and I enjoy my time when I am at Guides with her. Me2 Club has given us opportunities to do different things and have different experiences”.
