Me2 Club are recruiting a new Activities and Volunteers Coordinator

Full time (37hrs/week), regular evening and some weekend work will be required.

NJC Scale 14-20 £22,462 – £25,295 pa (plus pension contribution, sick pay scheme and holidays)

Me2 Club is widening its geographical reach into Berkshire therefore an exciting opportunity has arisen to join Me2 Club and be part of a successful local charity providing an excellent services for children and young people with additional needs.

Me2 Club charity enables children and young people, aged 5 to 19 years, with additional needs to participate in mainstream activities. Me2 Club has an excellent reputation in the area and fulfils a crucial need. We would like an enthusiastic and committed Activities and Volunteers Coordinator to join our team to enable us to grow and develop the charity.

The role will include: planning and implementing a new teenage project, expansion into 5 new wards of Reading Borough including the recruiting and training volunteers, supporting volunteers attending activities with Me2 Club children/young people and being part of the leadership team on residential/day trips. The successful candidate will support Me2 Club children/young people and their volunteers using their knowledge and experience to promote confidence and achievement.

We are looking for an individual with previous experience and understanding of children with additional needs. Excellent communication, writing and organisational skills are essential. Experience of working with volunteers would be beneficial.
