Matt Rodda MP visits Me2 Club

On Friday, we welcomed Matt Rodda MP for Reading East to our office, as he was keen to hear about the work we undertake in his constituency. We had an interesting two way conversation on current issues facing families of children with additional needs.

Matt was given a glimpse of the ‘invaluable’ service and he added: “Organisations such as Me2 provide a fantastic opportunity for those children and young people with additional needs to be able to attend everyday mainstream activities in a supportive and encouraging environment. Quite often, young people with additional needs feel socially isolated and withdrawn from mainstream society. Me2 volunteers provide an invaluable service to help encourage young people and help to build their confidence skills through joint participation in a wide range of activities.

I find the work of Me2 inspiring and look forward to doing more work with them.”

The Me2 Club team look forward to us working together in the future to improve the lives of the families Me2 Club supports.
