Charity Bake Off

Our first Charity Bake Off began last week with Coeo and K J Smith Solicitors taking part.

On Tuesday it was Coeo’s turn. The lunchtime event began with the team hearing from Liz McDaniel about the work of Me2 Club and how fundraising events can make such a difference. Everyone then tucked into the entries, and donated at least £1 per portion, before casting their votes in both the savory and sweet categories. The winners were James Murfin and Jake Hedges, who both received a trophy.

Christian Bolton, Technical Director, said afterwards: “Coeo are proud to support the Me2 Club and the incredible work they do. I’d like to thank Joe Pollock for making this year’s Bake-Off a huge success, as well as the Coeo team for supporting the event.”

On Friday it was the turn of the solicitors and the winners were Emma Sanders and Tiffany Constable.

Would your company, or organisation, run a bake off to support Wokingham children with additional needs and disabilities?

If yes, then we want to hear from you!

A baking competition can be a great occasion to get together with colleagues and share tasty treats.

For instructions, ideas and support please see the Poster and contact Liz.
