A very busy week!

This week is#UKCharityWeek and here at Me2 Club we have been involved in running and taking part in lots of fundraising events!

On Monday, our local Corporate Champions held a Row-a-thon. The aim was to row 115km on 2 machines throughout the day. This target was achieved with enthusiastic rowers from Ellis Knight Bespoke RecruitmentMagal AWTSageKJS Solicitors and many others. On the day, the donations came to £120 and with added support from people who were unable to join in the total currently stands at £366. One of our Corporate Champions had this to say about their generous donation “Harrison Clark Rickerbys are delighted to match the monies raised and add on a Christmas bonus of £100″

On Tuesday and Wednesday Me2 Club were part of the Wokingham Living Advent Calendar. Liz and Tess were bucket collecting at The Broad Street Tavern and The Gig House where there was live entertainment from The Thames Valley Chorus and Lorna James, which made for a great atmosphere. A big ‘thank you’ to one of our young people for all his support on both days!

Me2 Club staff, trustees and fundraising friends have been out today at ASDA Lower Earley raising funds and awareness for the charity. A big thank you to Easthampstead Rotary Club, Harrison Clark Rickerbys, our parents, young people and everyone else who came along to support us today.

This Sunday is our Me2 Club Christmas Party for our families. There will be Christmas crafts, entertainment from Juggle Puppets, light refreshments and a chance for all children and siblings to meet Santa in his Grotto! We look forward to seeing the families and volunteers at the event.
