A great Christmas party!

Last Sunday we held our Christmas party for our families. It was a very successful event with the children enjoying Fred in the Shed, Christmas crafts and a visit to Santa’s grotto. We had a lot of help from our trustees, volunteers and some of our parents to help the day run smoothly. We also had Natalie Community Life Champion from ASDA and Rob and Angie Hughes from Easthampsted Rotary Club who helped our children with the Christmas crafts. We would like to thank Easthampstead Rotary ClubBracknell Forest Lions Club; Mattel and The Fence Club for their kind donations to the party and everyone who helped. Congratulations to our Christmas card competition winners who were announced on the day, thanks for your great submissions. We hope that everyone had fun and we hope to see you all next year!

We had another exciting visit from Liam from That’s TV Thames Valley in the office this week and Tess, Nikki and Jess were all interviewed for the video about our volunteers and Christmas party. Click here to watch the video.

Today, Liz will be out at Emmbrook School Christmas Bazaar as they are kindly fundraising for Me2 Club. They held a lip-syncing competition yesterday and they are running a Christmas jumper day at school today, have a look on their facebook for photos! Good luck with the Bazaar today and thank you Adam and the team for your fundraising efforts, they are much appreciated. Look out next week to find out what was raised!

Don’t forget to show your support on social media today for Me2Club as part of #localcharitiesday 2017 and have a look on the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s TwitterFacebook and Instagram pages for more updates during the day.
