A busy start to 2019
It has been good to have everyone back in the Me2 Club office this week. Jess, Vicky and Tess have been to home visits for our new matches and to see our young people back at their activities with their volunteers. Tess has also visited the Wokingham Lions Club to update them on Me2 Club’s plans for the future. We would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to Wokingham Lions Club for their ongoing support of our charity.
This week has also been busy planning for our upcoming Teenager Day Away to Portsmouth. All those who are eligible have been sent out an invitation via email and we are looking forward to having the teenagers into the office for the planning meeting very soon. This day away is being funded by DM Thomas Foundation for Young People #IamABLE.
Tess is soon to run Inclusion Training for activity leaders. The next workshop is ‘Introduction to the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)’ on Tuesday 29th January. To find out more or book your place email Tess.
Jess will be at the Wokingham Volunteer Fair on Saturday, January 19th, 10:00 – 13:00 at Wokingham Town Hall Market Place, Wokingham.
