Getting ready for our Easter party

So far this year has been a busy time for Me2 Club and we have been working hard on reducing our waiting list and reaching more families throughout the Wokingham Borough. Over the spring term we have matched 12 new young people with volunteers and 10 of these have started their activity clubs. This means that our waiting list numbers are low and families are not having to wait as long to get the support of a volunteer.

On Wednesday, Georgie from SAGE visited our offices to find out more about what Me2 Club do and look at different ways that they can support us. We are really pleased that two members of staff from SAGE are kindly donating their time to help out at our Easter Party for our Me2 Club families, which is taking place on Wednesday 12th April, 2-4pm in Woodley. Magal AWT are also kindly supporting the party by donating a variety of eggs for our Easter egg hunt. In addition to this we also have a variety of arts and crafts and Mopsy the Me2 Club Bunny who needs a new home. Everyone who attends will be in with a chance of winning Mopsy, so if you would like to come along and join in the fun then email

Me2 Club are now working in partnership with an organisation called The Good Exchange to raise funds for Me2 Club. The Good Exchange makes it simple to connect those looking to make a difference in their local community with those who are able to provide the financial support.

“S enjoys taking part in activities that they did not like to do before, like cooking and taking part in big group games. Instead of always sitting in the corner they are now able to join the group without me even encouraging them to do so.”
