Me2 Club on BBC radio Berkshire

Last week our manager Tess Eagles was on BBC radio Berkshire with one of our parents to talk about the delays with diagnosing Autism and how we can support during this time. To hear them speaking to Sarah Walker click on the link http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04sd1y7 (approx 41 minutes into the programme).

On Wednesday Councillor Charlotte Haitham Taylor (Lead member for Children’s Services, Wokingham Borough Council) and her Deputy Cllr. Richard Dolinski came into the Me2 Club office to find out more about our work and to explain the changes that will be happening to Short Break funding.

Yesterday Kevin McDaniel ran the Wokingham Half Marathon to raise money for Me2 Club. The Me2 Club Team would like to say a big thank you, the money raised will make a really big difference to the young people and families that we work with. You can still support him by going to http://www.justgiving.com/Kevin-McDaniel

Plans are well underway for our Me2 Club quiz night which is taking place Friday 24th March. Thank you to Bracknell Engraving and Trophy Services Limited for helping us with the trophy and to Hicks Developments LTD for sponsoring the event.
