Happy Holidays from Me2 Club

This week has been a time for planning ahead for the Me2 Club team in the run up to Christmas. We hope all our volunteers and young people are enjoying their Christmas break from activities and that they are looking forward to the new term and everything it will bring. Plans are already in motion for our Day away, Weekend away and Volunteer Induction Training in February. We have already begun planning fundraising events throughout the year and looking at dates for our family parties. We hope you are all excited to celebrate 15 years of Me2 Club in 2018!

We would like to thank The Emmbrook School for all their hard work last Friday the their Christmas Bazaar. They raised an amazing £511 towards Me2 Club’s work with a Christmas Jumper day, bake sale and other festive stalls. Your support is much appreciated and will go towards helping children and young people with additional needs to enjoy the same opportunities as everyone else.

We also received a very kind donation from Willy Wonka Travel who are supporting our ‘Day Away’ project. We have an exciting trip planned for next year in the summer and this is all thanks to their donation. More details about the trip will be revealed next year! To find out more about how Willy Wonka Travel supports ASD families visit their website.

From all here at Me2 Club, we would like to wish our families, volunteers, trustees, funders and supporters a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thanks for reading the last blog of this year and see you in 2018!

The Me2 Club office will be closed from 5 pm on 21st December 2017 until 9 am 2nd January 2018.

“C now has a small bunch of friends who he talks to about everything. At the start he appeared kind of lonely but over time he has integrated and has people to talk to about things he enjoys!”
