Happy Easter from Me2 Club

We all had a great time yesterday at our first ever Me2 Club Easter Party. Activities included making silly putty, biscuit decorating, painting and an Easter egg hunt outside in the sunshine.  The afternoon ended with a special visit from the Easter Bunny who handed out eggs to all the children and young people who attended. A big thank you to SAGE for coming along to help out on the day, Christ Church in Woodley for letting us use their hall free of charge and to Magal AWT and Reading Maiden Erlegh Rotary Club for donating the Easter eggs. Following the Easter party we held a Personal Safety Workshop for our Me2 Club young people in collaboration with the charity SAFE! We were really pleased to see our young people engaging well and getting involved in the activities.

We are pleased to announce that on 6th May Me2 Club will be piloting an exciting new Day Away project. Our first trip will be a day out in Bournemouth for all our Me2 Club teenagers and will be free of charge as it is fully funded by The Wessex Youth Trust. One of the aims of this day is to help our teenagers learn valuable life skills so everyone who is attending will be involved with the planning. We will also be looking at running a Day Away for our younger Me2 Club children so watch this space for all the latest updates.

A big thank you to Kevin and Lucy who both ran their first Brighton Marathon to raise funds for Me2 Club on Sunday. We are always looking for enthusiastic fundraisers so if their stories have inspired you to take on a challenge, please contact us at info@me2club.org.uk.

From all of us here at Me2 Club, we hope you have a wonderful Easter.
