Happy 3 years at Me2 Club to Leanne!

On Monday we started the week at the Wokingham Council Chambers where the Mayor of Wokingham Borough Cllr Rob Stanton drew the winning tickets for our Summer Raffle. Some of our families and Trustees came along to the event to tell him all about Me2 Club and it was great to hear them talk so passionately about the work we do. The draw raised an amazing £1075 and we would like to thank everyone who supported us through sponsorship, donating a prize or buying a ticket.

This Wednesday we met Cllr Clive Jones, who visited the Me2 Club office to find out more about what we do and hear some stories about how our volunteers have made a difference to young peoples lives. Our door is always open to anyone who wants to find out more about our work and ways to support us.

Today we are celebrating that our wonderful Activities and Volunteers Coordinator, Leanne has been with Me2 Club for 3 years. During this time she has attended 6 residential Weekends Away, recruited and trained 146 volunteers and worked with nearly 100 families. Thank you Leanne for everything you do for Me2 Club.

If you are a local activity leader there is still time to fill out our Inclusion Training Survey and let us know what training topics you would find most useful at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/DKR6CXG. Please spread the word to any activity leaders you know!
