Exciting plans for 2018!

Me2 Club would like to wish all our families, volunteers, trustees, funders, and supporters a Happy New Year. We are all excited for everything 2018 will bring including our 15-year anniversary celebrations. Planning for the new year has continued from December and we now have the dates for lots of our events in the coming year. Please keep an eye on our events page for new dates and further details.

Coming up in February we have our Teenager Day Away on the 13th of February, all eligible young people should have received an invitation via email so please respond if you want to come as we will need to confirm places soon and get planning the activities with the teenagers input!

The first Weekend Away of the year for our children and young people will be on the 24th and 25th of February. The invites have been sent out via email so please respond before the 11th of January to let us know if you are interested in coming as places will be limited.

The new year is a great time to get involved with new opportunities so if anyone you know is considering volunteering with us get them to send in an application form as we have a Volunteer Induction Training booked for February 10th. Our existing supporters or those who can’t commit to volunteering weekly may consider becoming one of our fundraising friends or taking on a challenge this year to raise some funds for us! We are always happy to support and promote fundraising efforts from our supporters.

We hope all our children and volunteers are excited to start back at their activities in the next week or so and had a great Christmas break. Nikki, Jess and Tess are looking forward to visiting our new and existing matches to see how you are getting along and seeing lots of you at the upcoming events.

“My experience of volunteering with S is very rewarding and I enjoy my time when I am at Guides with her. Me2 Club has given us opportunities to do different things and have different experiences”.
