Every blue token helps!

Thanks to Sam, who cast his vote for Me2 Club at in Tesco’s Bags of Help Grant Scheme. Voting is still open at Tesco in Henley on ThamesTwyford Village express, and Woodley express until 28th of February. We could receive up to £4,000 to help train and support even more volunteers.

This week, we have been out at meetings and presentations that have allowed us to raise more awareness of Me2 Club in different settings. Tess and Nikki went out to Jacobs at Winnersh Triangle to talk to some of their employees about how Jacobs can support our work. We also had a visit from David Seward, CEO and Charlotte Netherton-Sinclair, Youth and Families Development Worker from Berkshire Youth to talk about how we can work together to support teenagers and young people.

We have had lots of interest in our Quiz night and have teams signed up already but we still need a few more, so please check your diaries and get in touch with Liz if you are interested in attending. It’s on Friday 9th March, 7-10pm in Woodley; tickets are £15, which includes a Fish and Chip supper. Click here to download the poster, which includes the details of the event.

This week, we received notice that The Lions Club of Windsor will be running their FunFest again this year on Sunday 25th March, which is a free event for children with disabilities and learning difficulties. For details and to register to attend go to their event page.

“My son looks forward for Wednesday to come so he can meet his volunteer and play badminton with him. Every week I see the progress in him. Thank you very much Me2 club for making my son happy.”
