Another successful Me2 Club Weekend Away

On 15th-16th July Me2 Club had a brilliant Weekend Away to PGL Liddington, with six of our young people and volunteers. On Saturday we did the sensory trail, followed by canoeing and ended the evening dancing, singing and roasting marshmallows around the campfire. We were up early on Sunday for another action packed day starting with aeroball before moving onto crate challenge, where everyone worked as a team to make the tallest tower. The trip ended with the very popular giant swing and a sing along on the journey home led by one of our young people.

We received really positive feedback from all our volunteers and young people about the trip, with everyone saying they enjoyed it and would like to attend another Weekend Away. We would like to say a big thank you to all our brilliant volunteers who came along for all their hard work and to the Greggs Foundation and NHS Berkshire West Berkshire for Respite Breaks for funding the trip and making it possible.
