Bespoke inclusion training

At the end of last week our Manager, Tess, delivered a bespoke training course ‘An Insight into understanding young people with Additional Needs and the Challenges they Experience’ to 18 of the Coaches and Managers at Woodley United FC. We received brilliant feedback with a number of attendees reporting that it will help them to communicate more effectively. We were very pleased to hear that everyone who attended felt that they would be able to make changes at their activities to ensure they were more inclusive.

This week Tess went along to the Community Youth Partnership Meeting to find out more about their ‘CommuniTrees Planting for Our Future Project’. She had a great time learning more about trees and it was brilliant to see the ways young people are supporting their local community.

We were very excited to receive a generous donation on Wednesday from The Edmund Godson Charity and would like to say a big thank you to Chris Young and his fellow trustees for choosing to support us.  This money will go towards supporting more children and young people in the Shinfield area that need our help.

TSB are currently looking for new local charity partners, so if you care about the work that we do please support us by sparing a couple of minutes to go online and nominate us. Entries close at 5pm on 24th May.

If you are looking to take on a challenge and raise some money for a good cause then join the Me2 Club team and walk, jog or run the Ultra Challenge, Henley 10k on Sunday 10th September. To take part contact our fundraiser, Liz, at info@me2club.org.uk.
