An exciting job opportunity

This week we ran our Volunteer Induction Training for 7 new Me2 Club volunteers. As May is a particularly busy time for a lot of our volunteers with exams starting, we really appreciate people taking time out to come along as it means that next week we will be able to start looking at taking more young people off our waiting list.

During Small Charity Week, on Tuesday 20th June we will be holding a cake and bric-a-brac sale, as well as bucket collecting throughout Woodley town centre. Me2 Club Is a small charity and we rely on the generosity of the local community to help us raise the funds we need to continue our work so if you are able to help out on the day or can help with donations please contact Liz at info@me2club.org.uk.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Me2 Club team as an Activities and Volunteers Coordinator, on a 1 year contract to cover maternity leave. The role will include recruiting and training volunteers, attending activities with children/young people and being part of the leadership team on residential/day trips. Further details and how to apply can be found on our Facebook page.

This Sunday is the Twyford Donkey Derby, so come along and see us at King George’s Field from 1pm!
